There’s no home button in evidence and it has much slimmer bezels than the current iPhone offerings. Many concepts have removed the home button – partly because it gives more room for a bigger screen and partly because people want to see fingerprint technology brought into play. Apple acquired sensor developers Authentic last year for a cool $356 million and many believe that this technology will eventually make its way into future Apple products.
The 4.6” screen is not a new concept; many want to see a larger display area and, indeed, rumor has it we may well be seeing it sooner than we think. However, despite the oversize screen, thee iPhone would still be classed as a smartphone, not a phablet.
